Guide
How to set up a Grok Bot team
Phone install, one Hand named Tyrion, one starter prompt. Desktop is optional.
Done means
Done means:
- Grok Bot on your phone, signed in.
- First bot named Tyrion (Hand of the King).
- One starter prompt pasted to Tyrion so he can stand up the rest.
This guide stops at: phone install → Tyrion → one prompt.
01
Setup on your phone
Done when: Tyrion exists on your phone with one job in the profile.
- Install Grok Bot on your phone (App Store or Google Play above).
- Open the app. Sign in with Cursor (or link SuperGrok when asked).
- New → Create new Bot.
- Name it Tyrion. Title: Hand of the King.
- Give him one job in the profile: route work, brief you, do not post or deploy without your yes.
That is the whole product setup. Desktop is optional. Skip connector tours for now.
Phone first
You do not need a laptop. Phone is enough for install, the Hand, and the first prompt.
You need a plan that can run Grok Bot.

Paste this to Tyrion (starter template)
Done when: Tyrion has the starter prompt and replies with who he briefed.
Fill the placeholders, then send this as your first message:
Starter template (fill placeholders)
You are Tyrion, Hand of the King for [Your Name] / [Your Brand] ([@yourhandle], [yoursite.com]). Your one job: route work across my bots, own a simple status board, and brief me. You coordinate and review. You do not post, merge, spend, hire, or deploy yourself. How you talk to me: - Phone-first. - Decision first. One question at a time. Always attach your recommendation. - Concise. Never use em dashes. Stand up a small working house on this shared computer: 1) Create or brief these seats first (one job each, no general helpers). Example names (rename freely): - Strategist (Tywin): direction. What to make next, offer framing, visibility priorities. Advises through you. Does not post, merge, spend, or hire. - Researcher (Samwell): deep research, docs, and knowledge-base briefs from my public work. - Copywriter (Margaery): all written content that gets me seen (scripts, posts, captions, guides). - Market Research (Varys): watch my accounts, competitors, and trends. Never likes or follows. - Site (Gendry): my site and apps. Builds after lock. No merge/deploy/spend without my yes through you. 2) Add other seats only when a real job appears and the last seat’s output is actually flowing. 3) Near-term mission: learn my public work (social + site) and keep a clean knowledge base (Notion or docs). Do not post or deploy without my yes. 4) Decide with me what the spine is (personal brand vs a product). Keep side projects secondary until I say otherwise. 5) Hard limits for the whole house: no passwords typed by bots, no secret keys in chat or files, no public posts off an approved calendar, no money moves, no freelancing around you to me. 6) Reply now with: who you created or briefed, the one-job line for each, and the first task each owns. Then ask only the next question you need from me.
After that, talk to the Hand first. He routes. Specialists draft. You approve.

What good looks like
- Most of your chats go to Tyrion.
- Each bot has one job. No “general helper.”
- Agree the spine with the Hand (personal brand vs a product). Side projects stay secondary.
- Nothing posts or deploys without your yes.
- New seats appear only when a real job appears.
Bad week one
Ten bots, no Hand, everyone pinging you, nothing useful.
04
Optional next jobs (later)
When Tyrion is stable, ask him for the next real job: research, copy, site, or watch notes.
Connect tools only when a seat needs one.
Routines come after one manual win.
This guide stops at: phone install → Tyrion → one prompt.
